Round 11 Continued
Lichtenberg
A quick recap (because it was so freaking long ago! @__@) A killer heat wave coming in the early morning time upon imminent starvation did poor second generation original Lichtenberg line Josef in (at age 31). As Saskia was still young enough to bear children and I had some *cough* spares, I introduced her to the leftovers - she didn't seem to take well to anyone (at the time!) which is just as well as the rest of the Lichtenberg boys are all dead now (cruel aren't I? ^__^~) And then in the final hours of the round a visit from the brother-in-law Anselm, left a less than grieving widow Saskia pregnant - ah what fun family tales these kids will have to tell...
Lichtenberg2/Braun3 - Part 1
I have no idea what's going on anymore @__@ ...just in case you were confused, it's contagious! All I know for sure is that men learned very early on why they should not hug other men - a simple friendly hug between Anselm and his brother-in-law *cough* (who I thought was his brother at the time) has created a chain reaction of events that has broken up the happy lives of several families and annihilated one of them altogether (as well as temporarily his own). I shall explain as best I can as I proceed...
The last we saw Ziska was most upset with her husband but more furious when she discovered he had been in a fight with her best friend Silke - more to the point - that he had LOST on top of that, proving himself unfit to be a father and so she booted him out off to the lost boys lot. I then discovered in the rules that all losers in fights must be killed - this is Neanderthal Era after all - the age of basic survival instincts - and so, Anselm suffered indignantly at the hands of some killer man-eating flies (which all you sick and twisted simmers can see HERE)...which created a chain reaction effect and they took his brothers lives also - and with their three deaths ended the generation 2 line of Lichtenberg males; leaving little Torsten the single heir to the Lichtenberg2 line. Poor little fellow, and he's only 7 too.

Previously in the Braun3 family - Erwin's beloved Isa was taken by heat stroke while heavily pregnant, leaving Erwin without an heir and all alone with little daughter Katja - who btw has to be THE prettiest child ever naturally produced in a sims game! - So, younger brother Niklaus was brought back from No Man's Land to help raise Katja...only to be swept away by widowed Saskia Althausen who didn't want to raise so many kids alone without a man; that left Erwin and Katja alone again, but! Erwin had a plan...
As I jumped ahead to play the Braun3 family in a bid to merge the 2 families together and not have to play them twice (more fool me) I leave it there for now and get back to the normal play order of things - to be continued...
Braun
Braun2
WARNING:If male/male relationships make you squeamish blah blah blah...yes, again, because it's a continuation of what happened earlier in the round at the Althausen family lot ^__^
I don't know if an explanation is needed; I've pretty much covered everything that happened in the pictures above - they mostly speak for themselves anyway right? ^__^ As to how much "god-hand" control I put over Elias...really, hardly anything. He is very, very friendly, calm, good natured, doesn't anger AT ALL, gets along with everyone and is indifferent to being snubbed...=_= yeah, you know, that kind of person that is so sickeningly sweet it makes you grind your back teeth in ENVY *grind grind grind!* LoL The only thing I did do was send Elias and Oskar on a "date" at this community lot I created eons ago before noticing the rule that said NO community lots (whoopsie) but it's come in useful. I just wanted a break, to see what would happen. As for the booty call - totally not my doing! I didn't think it would work because that's happened many times before in the game and when the "called" one shows up...the bed is never empty so they just hang out until it's time to leave >_>...sims. At this point I was still debating what to do with the naughty heirs, but I've come to a decision...that you'll just have to wait and see to find out~ Also just like to note - Oskar is not the only S3 like I keep saying since Eduard is S3 and there's another one I can't think of just now @__@ Oh gawd so many sims to remember...But Oskar is the only S3 offspring to the original S3 line (Oskar - Hagon - Ulrich - capeche?) whereas Eduard is a "mix" thanks to his opposite end of the colour spectrum folks. And before I forget (again) if you check out the family tree section you will see the little sweetie Liesa had that I totally forgot to show a picture of here ~__~
Lichtenberg2/Braun3 - Part 2
The last we saw of the recently widowed Erwin Braun was the cut-short engagement thanks to an abruptly refused proposal of marriage by the also recently widowed Ziska Lichtenberg; the new few days were then spent avoiding each other in the hope no fights would break out...
No Man's Land
And so, history making orphan Katja Braun (third branch on the Braun family tree) has the courage of a lion (and the stubborness of a mule) and taken herself off into the big wide world, all the way up into the hills *cough* not just down the road or anything lame like that! *cough* to "no man's land" the land where all my unwanted/unmarried/unloved sims have disappeared to, either for resurrection later or...just plain death...
I do say, what a lot of firsts there were this round - the first orphan, the first black widow, the first runaway teen... Katja was away for an entire "season" (five days) and what you see here is pretty much all that happened. My intention was to leave her there on her own, but it was actually very stressful O_O I've had more happen to that poor little girl alone on that lot than has happened to other families throughout the entire generation! And so, when Detlef appeared (heir to the original Braun family line remember?) I was reminded she had family in high places and she was not, in fact, entirely alone in the world, and as such she is now part of the original Braun family line too, with great possibilities available now in her future. "I'm not getting married - ever - if that's what you were thinking." --- Hey, you don't have to get married! --- "Really?" --- Of course not! ^__^ But you're not keeping those fantastic genes to yourself for eternity either. --- "......I'm going to build a temple for your soul and burn it to the ground." --- Teenagers, so dramatic! And now, one more to go before the end of Round 11...
Rosenberg
Three months, I say, from 27th of December 2010 to the 27th of March 2011 is how long it took to get through this round...*flops onto desk* I deserve a medal! But better news than that - next round is already begun and it's the last for this Era - the Roman Era (which I think I've been talking about to death recently) is ALMOST upon us, I can taste it, I can almost reach out and touch it! (Does it seem like I'm really eager to get to the Roman Era?). Strangely enough, through Round 10 and 11 I have been very excited to get to the Roman Era, so much so I didn't think "but that means no more easy peasy Neanderthal Era..." O_O ...and then I felt sad. Enjoy your Neanderthal Era while it lasts even if it drives you nuts, because once it's gone - it's gone! *whoosh!* it will become part of history as the Romans conquer the land...ah, I do love melodrama~ I am definitely taking my time with Round 12, enjoying the families and all the sims running around in their indecent clothing for one last round. As for Round 11...>_> well, was it dramatic enough? I swear it saved everything up until the grand finale! So far Round 12 has been very uneventful, but I'm only 3 families in. Something to look forward to soon - Gen 3 adults, yay!
